"Shadow & Sun Full Heat"
I knew a friend was studying architecture in the United States of America that his professor had admired from his great interest with the architecture in the Arabian Peninsula and applying its principles in the modern architecture. He invited his intelligent student to his office and asked him to explain the reasons?!! My friend told me that he tried to explain to his professor the importance of architecture in the Arabian Gulf which has a tough geographical location and how its cruel climate needs to be fulfilled with certain types of architecture that interests with the desert environment?!!

Our Beautiful Mosques
I used to, in the warm wintry days, park my car in the earthy space opposite Al Sayer mosque in Jabla area to perform Al Asr prayer in that old mosque. I was born near to this mosque in a small clayey house after my father moved from Failka Island in the early sixties. After Al-Juma prayers, I used to sit quietly to look attentively at the mosque, its white columns, its simple ceiling, its wooden windows and its decorated Mihrab (temple). I feel very peaceful in these mosques. The extent of which I cannot express in words.
